Arts and Cycling Converge in Mill Woods!

This past weekend, the Edmonton Bikeology Festival kicked off in Mill Woods. MWAC was there to support community living.

MWAC member and author Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail cycled down with her family.

And other members like poet Jannie Edwards, rapper and activist Rod Loyola and arts supporter/organizer Theresa Wynn staffed the MWAC tent, drew prize winners, and got into the spirit!

This month we are aiming to get youth  in our community involved through the arts by providing them with the stepping-stones that they may need to begin to establishing themselves as leading members in the community!

For the first time we will be presenting a youth art gallery in Mill Woods at the Koffee Café! Students and other leading members in the community will be presenting and selling art work for most of the month of April.

This is an open mike night so everyone is welcome to join!!!

~~ The Mill Woods Artist Collective is a group of creative artist’s, writers and supporters of the art’s who have come together to work towards the future of building a strong arts community in Mill Woods.
