Oct 24 – Working the Deadbeat (Special Edition of Glass Door Coffee House) @ 7 p.m.

For this very special edition of the Glass Door Coffee House series, MWAC is partnering with LitFest and the Creative Nonfiction Collective to bring you “Working the Deadbeat”.

This GDCH features the Globe and Mail’s obituary writer, Sandra Martin (and author of a new book called Working the Deadbeat); Myrl Coulter, author of The House with the Broken Two; Caitlin Crawshaw, local writer and artist; and singer-songwriter¬†Rebecca Lappa!

As always, we will have open mic sessions – so bring your favourite dark and spooky poetry, short fiction, nonfiction or songs to perform.

Admission is FREE but donations are greatly appreciated and all proceeds are split among the headliners.

If you are a creative person and live or work in Mill Woods please consider joining our collective by calling 780-293-8496 or emailing mwartistscollective@gmail.com
